Oliver is a multi-instrumentalist who has been head of audio for the award-winning podcast company Noiser since the company’s inception. After years touring with bands, Oliver, along with his writing partner Dorry Macaulay (Yehudi Menuhin School, Royal Academy of Music) turned their experience to composition in 2019. Since then, they’ve shown remarkable versatility, moving between fragile, gentle scores and epic, layered, gritty soundscapes as their various commissions have required. Able to cover every aspect, from the writing to the delivery of broadcast-ready masters, Oliver and Dorry use an extensive range of real instruments recorded with high end analogue equipment to precisely capture the historical context and location in which the narrative is set - be this the refined world of Jane Austen or the high octane brutality of Pablo Escobar! Thus far, clients have included BBC 1, Channel Four, Spotify Original Podcasts, ITV, Postcard Productions, iHeart, and Glass Media Entertainment. Oliver and Dorry’s work is published by Wixen.
